The Research & Development (R&D) Department drives innovation and product development at Nivix Pharmaceuticals Limited. Our scientists and formulation specialists are dedicated to developing safe, effective, and commercially viable pharmaceutical products that address therapeutic needs in Nepal and the wider region.

R&D activities encompass formulation development, process optimisation, stability studies, method development, and dossier preparation for regulatory submission. Every project follows a structured development pathway from feasibility assessment and prototype formulation through pilot-scale trials, scale-up validation, and technology transfer to commercial production.

Our laboratory is equipped with modern analytical and formulation tools, enabling rigorous evaluation of drug products against pharmacopoeial and internal quality standards. We maintain comprehensive documentation in line with regulatory expectations, ensuring traceability and reproducibility at every stage of development.
